Kanye West Being Charged For Assaulting A Woman In A Parking Lot

The 45-year-old notorious rapper is being investigated for alleged assault and abuse after an incident on the road on January 27 while traveling to his daughter North West’s nine-year-old basketball match in Los Angeles. This is more unfortunate news for Kanye West.

The rapper allegedly believed the vehicle behind him was tailgating him and his wife Bianca Censori, who Kanye wedded last month, in their SUV, according to TMZ, which has footage of a portion of the altercation. As a response, the rapper got out of his vehicle to engage the individuals inside.

A lady is seen in the driver’s seat recording the incident on tape. “You didn’t have to jump up on me like that, the rapper says, appearing to lecture the people inside. If I tell you to stop, put down your cameras!” He can overhear the woman recording him exclaiming, “You’re a celebrity!” and “I wasn’t running.” Following this, Kanye West is seen snatching the lady’s cell phone from her, smashing it, and tossing it into the street before getting back in his own vehicle and leaving.

According to TMZ, the woman whose device was snatched and destroyed filed the assault in person, and Ventura County Sheriff’s Department deputies also arrived at the site “about 4:30 PM and were shown visual evidence of the crime.”

Do you want me to go running up on your kids’ games like that? – Kanye appeared to ask as he pulled up right in front of photographers filming the entire situation. They responded, “There’s a hundred of us,” in defense. Kanye continued: “I need everyone to stop when they see my kids. I won’t allow you to snap my picture if I need to see my kids. It is called human rights.”

Kanye West has previously engaged in physical confrontations with paparazzi. In 2015, Ye reached a settlement in a legal dispute incorporating a July 2013 event involving videographer Daniel Ramos, in which the rapper accused of assaulting him and attempted to seize his camera at the Los Angeles Airport after Ramos asked, “Kanye, why can’t we talk to you?” which led to his outburst.

Ramos filed a lawsuit against West alleging abuse, assault, recklessness, and violation of his civil rights. Unknown settlement terms include 250 hours of supervised community service, 24 classes on anger management, and payment to Ramos for the damages to his camera. The rapper later apologized to Ramos as part of the agreement.

Additionally, in 2013, the rapper was seen hitting camera equipment at LAX and yelling at photographers, “I don’t want the press to bother me or anyone I know. Never talk with someone you don’t know.” And he was previously detained for being hostile toward a photojournalist in London in 2008. The revelation of Kanye’s most recent assault allegation comes two months following his separation from Kim Kardashian, which was officially settled and only a few weeks after he allegedly wed Australian architecture designer Bianca Censori in a private ceremony.

If the rumors are to be true, the rapper’s marriage to Censori, who has been employed by Yeezy since 2020, is not legally binding because the ‘honeymooners’ failed to secure a marriage certificate!
